Kyle was very hands-on with the process, ensuring that he designed his own hairline, which is marked in pen on his face in photos released.

Dr. Kumari revealed: ‘He had a confidence problem. Obviously he’s a telly guy and he wants to look his best.’

‘He wanted his beard to look more filled out – just for his self-esteem, he doesn’t want to feel low about it.’

It should also be noted that it will take another 12 to 18 months for Kyle’s beard to gain the maximum fuller feel.

Kyle’s recovery time from the lengthy transplant was only a couple of days.

Last year, Kyle also underwent a nose job after candidly revealing he was always self-conscious about his nose since breaking it in a scuffle with his brother in their youth.

As well as his nose job, Kyle also underwent a hair transplant – clearly moving towards a complete image overhaul – as he revealed he was always insecure of his hairline.

The handsome hunk told MailOnline: ‘I’m from a long line of bald lads, my brother shaved his hair when he was 15. I wasn’t losing my hair, I wanted my hairline changed because it’s always been a bit far back.’
