Dwayne Johnson has taken to Twitter to say he ‘understands’ the reaction of a dad who lunged at disgraced doctor Larry Nassar in court earlier today.
Johnson shared the news story about Randall Margraves, whose daughters were in court giving victim impact statements, throwing himself towards Nassar with a raised fist.
In a post, the father of two, wrote: “We all understand this father’s action. Nassar’s punishment will go far beyond sentencing. Behind bars, he’ll soon know what hell means. He’ll be well taken care of.”

The post was ‘liked’ 22,000 times within an hour of posting and his fans were quick to agree with the actor’s sentiments, with one writing: “Hopefully the father doesn’t get charged with anything. Anybody who has kids should know the anger he was feeling. I for one would have done the same thing.”
Another added: “I know that’s harsh. But if anyone ever tried to hurt a child in my care… they’d be hurting when I was done with them. They can throw me in jail, but if a sexual predator is no longer able to hurt another child. I’d be happy.”
A third posted: “I really wish he could have gotten just one hand on him. My heart breaks for all involved.”
Margraves stood alongside his daughters in court today, and asked the judge for five minutes alone with the ‘demon’, when his request was turned down he asked for ‘just a minute’, but again was refused.
He then threw himself towards the defence table shouting ‘let me at him’, before he was tackled by court room officials and lead in handcuffs from the room.
Nassar, the former US Gymnastics doctor, was sentenced to up to 175 year for his vile crimes against more than 150 women and girls.
When sentencing him, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina said: “I just signed your death warrant. I find that you don’t get it, that you’re a danger, that you remain a danger.”
